CHRIS HANDS OUT OXFORDSHIRE GRASSROOTS AWARDS
Last Friday evening (13 September), Oporto client and England coach, Chris Powell, was a special guest at the Oxfordshire FA Grassroots Football Awards ceremony, which was held at Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium.
The former England international full-back met each of the winners on the night, presenting them with their awards, before delivering a speech about his experience of grassroots football – both as a player and as a father. Powell went on to take part in a Q&A session, where those in attendance were able to quiz him on his lengthy career on both sides of the touchline.
